- What is High-Definition (HD)?
- It refers to a higher picture quality and great color definition. The image in the HD version is six times larger than and the detail of its quality is far superior to our Standard-Definition versions. Please note the file size is also much greater (1.6 GB).
- What is Flatland The Movie - Digital Download version?
- Flatland The Movie, Digital Download version, is the full-length (36 minutes) version of Flatland The Movie available as a Quicktime file. We are offering it for instant download after you purchase it so you can begin viewing it almost immediately (your download speed will vary). This is not a rental, you get the keep the digital file on your computer and can burn it to a DVD or transfer to your iPod.
- Will I receive a DVD in the mail?
- No, the digital download version is a digital file only.
- What happens if I lose my file or have trouble downloading it after purchasing it?
- When you purchase the movie, you will be emailed a link to download the movie.
- What is the quality of the HD digital download like?
- It is crystal-clear, Blu-Ray quality, at full frame size, and full frame rate, stereo sound. This is no "You-Tube" quality video. You would be hard pressed to tell the difference between this digital download and the Blu-Ray in quality. See the Technical Specs for more information.
- What are the system requirements?
- You must be on a computer with Quicktime 7 or higher installed. Please see the Technical Specs.
- Does the digital download includes the bonus features on the DVD?
- No. The digital download does not include the bonus features. You must purchase the DVD to obtain these.
- Can I burn my digital file to a DVD?
- Yes, you may burn (1) copy for your own exclusive personal use. There is no DRM restriction on the file. Please note though that we provide no technical support for burning the file to a DVD or Bluray disc. You must have the appropriate authoring software and burner to do this.
- What are the licensing restrictions of the digital download?
- The digital version of Flatland The Movie is for personal, non-commercial, non-classroom, private use ONLY. You make copies of the file for your own use or on a DVD. You may not share the file on any file-sharing network or provide the file to other people. If you wish to show Flatland The Movie in a classroom or other public setting, please consider the Educational Edition of the DVD, or contact us for licensing arrangements.
